We have 2 interior lounges where you can chat, watch TV, read a book in front of the fireplace or just sit back and enjoy the tranquility of being in the middle of nature. We also have a large outdoor parking and two terraces with spectacular views to the Cuera Mountains.
The Hotel Rural Valleoscuru makes a small homage to Asturian mythology, naming each of its 11 rooms with some of its most known characters such as La Xana, El Trasgu, El Ventolin, El Nuberu, El Busgosu, La Guaxa, La Llavandera, The Papón, El Cuelebre, The Sumiciu or The Diañu Burlón. All of them related, with the four elements: air, earth, water and fire. And very linked to the tradition of the Asturian people.
THE RURAL HOTEL IS A PART OF THE VALLEOSCURU EXPERIENCE
Parallel to the hotel activity, we complement it with agriculture. Apart from the apple trees with which the organic cider is made, in a small orchard we grow: lettuce, tomatoes, courgettes, green beans, cabbage, onions, eggplants.
In the cider press we also elaborate the vinegar, the jams and the sweets of apple. In addition, we grow “in green” Fabes of the farm and Maize of human consumption, to transform it into flour and to make one of the typical dishes of the East Asturian, the “tortos”. All these typical products can be enjoyed by all travelers staying at the Hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
In the autumn, during the cider season (around mid october), customers can participate in the process of making the cider: picking apples, taking them to the apple orchard and chopping and crushing until the first few liters of apple juice begin to emerge. After the fermentation process will lead to our rich ecological cider. The rest of the year you can visit our facilities, as well as our crops and orchards.

THE CIDER PRESS
We have about 2000 apple trees of a few native Asturian varieties (Raxao, Perico, Coloradona …) that we cultivate in a totally ecological way. The maturation time of these apples is at the end of September, when its collection begins. According to the tons of apples that it takes it can take about two months to have everything prepared for the fermentation.
The process of production of the Asturian cider is simple, we take the apples to the storage place of the “Llagar” de Valleoscuru, we select them, we wash and we chop them to throw them to the press of the “Llagar”.
The Hotel Rural Valleoscuru offers breakfasts with natural juices, cow’s milk, jams, biscuits and muffins completely homemade and delicious. Homemade dinners are made with products from our own orchard, specializing in beef and Asturian steaks, sausages and a large variety of local artisan cheeses, as well as the minced meat and breads made at the hotel.
Also it is necessary to emphasize the daily elaboration of homemade desserts to finalize any meal or dinner. And all this accompanied by the exquisite organic cider Valleoscuru.
